Jessica Linton is a Trainee Solicitor at McGee McGee Agar Law, recognised for her exceptional academic achievements, strong legal knowledge, and calm, client-focused approach. Currently undertaking her training contract within the firm’s Family Law department, Jessica is building a strong reputation for her professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for clients.
Before beginning her training contract in September 2025, Jessica worked within the firm as a Legal Secretary, giving her valuable hands-on experience across client care, case preparation, and legal procedure. Her progression within McGee McGee Agar Law reflects both her dedication to the legal profession and the confidence the firm places in her abilities.
Jessica’s academic record marks her out as one of the firm’s most promising legal professionals. She achieved a First Class Honours degree (LLB) and was awarded recognition by her university as the highest-performing graduating student across her entire course cohort.
Her commitment to excellence was further recognised nationally when she received the prestigious Neuberger Prize in 2023 from Lincoln’s Inn, awarded for “proven excellence.” This highly respected award from one of the UK’s Inns of Court highlights Jessica’s exceptional academic ability and future potential within the legal profession.

Jessica is currently completing the Family Law seat of her training contract, working closely alongside the firm’s experienced family solicitors on a broad range of matters, including:
Her approachable and compassionate manner helps clients feel reassured during emotionally difficult situations, while her strong legal understanding ensures every case is handled with care and precision.
In addition to her family law work, Jessica is currently undertaking the Police Station Accreditation Course and acts as a Probationary Police Station Representative. This role is helping her develop practical experience in criminal defence and early-stage legal representation.
